Valon Westerfield joined SageGuard Financial Group as a Client Services Coordinator after first getting to know the firm as a college intern. A 2026 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Valon earned degrees in Finance and International Business and brings a strong interest in financial planning, relationship building, and serving others.

In his role at SageGuard, Valon supports client and firm outreach while continuing to expand his knowledge and experience within the financial services industry. His relationship-focused approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to serving others make him a natural fit for SageGuard’s client-first culture.

Valon was drawn back to SageGuard by the same qualities that stood out to him during his internship: a strong emphasis on trust, relationships, communication, and putting clients first. He believes trust is at the heart of a successful advisor-client relationship and hopes to build lasting relationships where clients feel comfortable asking questions, having honest conversations, and turning to their financial team throughout different stages of life.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Valon enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, attending live music, and spending time with friends and family. He also speaks Spanish and has a particular interest in business law. Always up for something new, you can often find him trying a new activity, exploring outdoors, or planning his next trip.
